Medieval Byzantine Armors
Bronze Defensive Buckler
Bronze defensive buckler with a diameter of 30 cm. It is made of a 1.5 mm bronze sheet. It consists of three parts, a conical hub, the main body and the handle on its inner side. Parts are permanently connected with rivets. It follows a Gothic style with discrete multiple ribs that enhance mechanical strength while simultaneously offering a unique appearance and character. The palm of the operator is partly covered by the cone as it is placed in its interior. All laminates have been made in the traditional way, by hot hammering.
